Allan O'Dette
Allan O’Dette is currently the Director of External Relations and Public Affairs (Ontario) for GlaxoSmithKline Canada Inc. His main area of responsibility is to foster globally competitive market access and investment conditions for GlaxoSmithKline in Ontario.
Allan currently sits on the Boards of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, The Couchiching Institute of Public Affairs, Mount Sinai Hospital Leadership, The Toronto Biotech Initiative and he is the President of the Canadian Club of Toronto. Allan is passionate about giving back to the community and assists in many other charity and volunteer activities.
Allan has over 17 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held progressive positions with Eli Lilly, Searle and Pharmacia. He has recently served 5 years as the Ontario Vice-Chair for Canada’s Research-based Pharmaceutical Company Association.
Allan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University and an M.B.A. from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.
